Solutions Consultant

Our partner is a custom software consulting and digital transformation firm that helps organizations modernize platforms, build tailored software solutions, and solve complex business challenges through technology. As the team continues to grow, they are adding a Solutions Consultant to help guide opportunities from early discovery through proposal alignment and close. This person will work closely with founders, executives, operational leaders, and technical stakeholders to understand business challenges, facilitate discovery conversations, shape solution direction, and maintain momentum throughout the consulting lifecycle. The role sits at the intersection of business strategy, software delivery, and consultative solution selling. This is not a traditional product sales role. The ideal candidate understands how to navigate ambiguity, build trust with executive stakeholders, collaborate with delivery teams, and help clients define custom technology solutions aligned to business goals. Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field Experience leading discovery conversations with executive, business, and technical stakeholders Background supporting software modernization, digital transformation, or custom application initiatives Familiarity with software delivery concepts including SDLC, APIs, integrations, and solution scoping Experience collaborating with engineering, architecture, or delivery teams during pre-sales engagements Exposure to proposal development, SOW discussions, commercial alignment, or solution shaping activities Skills and Strengths Discovery Facilitation Consultative Selling Client Discovery Solution Shaping Custom Software Consulting Stakeholder Alignment Software Delivery SDLC Business Acumen Client Engagement Commercial Ownership Proposal Development APIs Integrations Digital Transformation Software Modernization Relationship Building Problem Solving Lead Generation Opportunity Qualification Primary Job Responsibilities Lead discovery conversations with prospective clients and stakeholders Understand business challenges, operational pain points, and solution objectives Help shape custom software and digital transformation solutions aligned to client goals Guide conversations with executive, business, and technical stakeholders Collaborate with architects and engineering teams during solution development Support proposal alignment, scope definition, and commercial discussions Maintain momentum throughout the consulting and sales lifecycle Facilitate stakeholder alignment across client organizations Ask consultative questions to uncover underlying business needs Participate in opportunity qualification and pipeline developmentSupport software modernization and transformation initiatives Help clients navigate ambiguity during early-stage solution planning Partner closely with internal consulting, delivery, and technical teams #J-18808-Ljbffr Ranger Technical Resources
