Financial Aid Assistant, Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships Job no: 562003 Work type: Staff Location: San Marcos Categories: Unit 7 - CSUEU - Clerical and Administrative Support Services, Administrative, Temporary, Time Varies Under general supervision and the direction of the assigned lead financial aid advisor, the incumbent provides support for Financial Aid and Scholarships students, parents/family supports, and staff. Provides information and assistance to students and parents, regarding federal, state, institutional and private scholarship and aid programs. Provides front-line support . Assists under the guidance of the lead financial aid advisors to maintain department in program development. Position Summary This is a part‑time, temporary, non‑exempt position thatexpires one year from the date of hire. Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date. Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $19.97 per hour (step 1) CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,461 - $4,847 per month Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of the individual selected.
