Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at High Point, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs by utilizing evidence-based approaches and treatment modalities.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address therapeutic goals, ensuring cultural sensitivities are integrated into the approach.
\n
• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using methods appropriate for each client's unique context and background.
\n
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) software effectively for documentation, scheduling, and maintaining confidential client communications in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Provide clinical oversight and support to clients while fostering a holistic approach that incorporates mental, emotional, and relational health.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for clients.

• Engage in continuous education and training to stay abreast of best practices in behavioral health and therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. You will be responsible for offering bilingual psychotherapy services, addressing issues such as trauma, grief, stress, relationship conflicts, and more. Your culturally competent approach will ensure clients feel understood, valued, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a closely related field from an accredited program.

• Active and unrestricted professional LMFT license.
\n
• Strong language skills and the ability to provide bilingual services in both Spanish and English.
\n
• At least two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with children, families, and adults.
\n
• Cultural competence and sensitivity to the diverse needs of clients, respecting individual values and customs.
\n
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in a community health setting is highly desired, as is specialization in areas such as trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ community support, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health. A readiness to engage with a variety of client concerns will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus.
