Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Collaboratively design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and personal goals.
\n
• Utilize established evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster independence and resilience.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to reflect evolving needs and therapeutic goals.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.

• Stay informed of the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to continuously enhance clinical practice.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, ensuring clarity and continuity of care.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations and professional development workshops to hone skills and share insights with colleagues.

• Advocate for clients to ensure their mental health needs are met while working to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves clients experiencing mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work closely with diverse populations, which may include vulnerable groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding these clients toward recovery and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Exhibit compassion, empathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward the experiences and struggles of clients.

• Possess excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary range for this position is USD 70,000 – 90,000 , commensurate with qualifications and experience.
