Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician responsible for supporting pharmacy operations, including medication preparation and distribution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medication under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the pharmacy area.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the pharmacy.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• CPhT Certification with the state of Texas.
• IV Certification.
• 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a hospital or compounding environment.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom setting for extended hours.

Additional Requirements

• Compliance with a 10-panel drug screening and background check.
• Training schedule primarily Monday & Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday-Friday 6am-2:30pm for the first 30 to 60 days.
