Cypress Creek Hospital is a free-standing 128-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in north Houston, TX, and minutes south of The Woodlands. Cypress Creek Hospital features individual units for adolescents and adults and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. We currently have an opportunity for a Part Time Certified Pharmacy Technician.

To provide pharmaceutical services, under direct Pharmacist supervision, to adolescent and adult patients as prescribed by the medical staff.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Accurately fills medication cart.
• Prints and labels patient medications.
• Delivers medication to nursing units.
• Assists Pharmacist in maintaining accurate patient profiles containing all patient information necessary for clinical monitoring. All necessary patient information (allergies, height, weight, diagnosis, etc.) will be entered into the computer daily.
• Assists Pharmacist in identification and entry of medication orders into computer.
• Records medication billing into computer daily.
• Billing will be accurate and completed daily.
• Other Duties as Assigned
• Must be available to work weekdays.

Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician Requirements:

• Education: H.S. diploma with graduation from a pharmacy technician program
• Experience: One year hospital experience
• Licensure: Current certification from the Texas Pharmacy Board
• Certifications: None
• Additional Requirements: Computer skills. Flexible hours.
• Ability to work weekdays is a must.
