We are proactively seeking experienced Automotive Payroll Coordinator candidates for our Corporate Office Location in North Bergen, NJ . Automotive Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities: The Automotive Payroll Coordinator compiles accurate payroll data to maintain payroll records. Compiles payroll data such as hours worked, salaried, commission and any deductions to be withheld from time sheets and other records in order to compensate employees accurately Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll Records changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, benefit coverage, and loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records Records data concerning transfer of employees between departments and dealerships Responsible for preparing periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions Prepares and issues paychecks Maintains accurate employee payroll files Maintains accurate I9 binder for active employees Responsible for hiring/terminating employees immediately in the system. Payroll department prompts benefit and cobra correspondences Creates weekly management reporting Performs filing and upkeep of employee payroll records. Generates computer report of payroll activities for the management.
