Your Responsibilities What You Will Contribute

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, following established clinical protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot inaccuracies, and manage both preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, assist in training new staff or students, and maintain lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree plus ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification while employed.
