What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory testscovering areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established guidelines.
• Interpret results with accuracy, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and manage preventative maintenance and calibration of sophisticated lab instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when required.
• Document all steps meticulously, guide and mentor new staff or students, and help maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace while complying with regulatory mandates and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be attained within one year of being hired.
• Requirement to maintain current certification throughout your duration of employment.
