Financial AnalystLocation: Plano, TX Pay Rate: 40.00hr – 40.00hr Schedule: Fully on-site, Monday thru Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM (hours may vary)Staffmark Workforce Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices and appliances located in Plano, TX.Top SkillsAdvanced ExcelKnowledge of security-related financial conceptsAnalytical mindsetResponsibilitiesAnalyze and track HR-related financial data, including compensation, benefits, and workforce costsPrepare and maintain HR-security budget reports, forecasts, and variance analyses as well as tracking paymentsProcess invoices and approval forms as well as review contractsCollaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting for security programsSupport the development of financial models and scenarios for workforce planning and cost optimizationProvide insights and recommendations to improve HR financial efficiency and effectivenessAssist on vendor set up and bank set up as necessaryYear over year variance analysis and track spending throughout the yearAssemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reportsAnalyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisionsInterpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risksPresent oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations and entire industriesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred SkillsExperience in FP&A, finance or a similar role.Strong communication and collaboration skillsKnowledge of Security-related financial concepts and practices.Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.Staffmark talent working with this client receive competitive compensation and a great benefits package!
