• Location: Waldwick, NJ (100% In-Office)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $22.00 – $24.00/hr (commensurate with logistics experience)
• Employment Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, and operationally minded professional to handle end-to-end freight coordination, carrier procurement, and account growth. Position Summary

This is a hands-on, high-volume logistics and scheduling role. You will manage the full lifecycle of freight movements, negotiate rates with carriers, schedule pickups/deliveries, and prospect new business. You will balance operational execution with client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scheduling & Dispatch Logistics: Coordinate, schedule, and track load movements from origin to destination, resolving carrier delays, route issues, and equipment shortages in real time.
• Carrier Procurement & Negotiation: Sourcing, vetting, and negotiating rates with motor carriers/trucking companies to secure reliable capacity at profitable margins.
• Freight Bidding & Pricing: Analyze spot-market trends to quote and bid competitively on open freight lanes.
• Outbound Business Development: Conduct target outreach and cold calling to build a pipeline of shipping clients and expand existing lane volume.
• Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for accounts, maintaining accurate load data, rate agreements, and track-and-trace updates.

Qualifications & Experience

• Logistics/Freight Experience: 1+ years of experience in freight brokerage, dispatching, carrier sales, or supply chain coordination highly preferred.
• Operational Drive: Proven capability managing high-volume load boards, tight delivery windows, and complex scheduling.
• Negotiation Skills: Confident making outbound calls, negotiating rates with carriers, and closing sales prospects.
• Problem-Solving: Sharp critical thinking skills to resolve transit disruptions and load re-powers quickly.
• Bilingual Skills: Spanish or other secondary language skills are a plus.
