Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities that support your clients' emotional and mental well-being. Your duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for individuals, couples, and families to identify their needs, strengths, and challenges.
\n
• Facilitating therapeutic sessions with both partners together as well as individual sessions to address specific issues.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to manage and treat various concerns, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol abuse
\n
• Physical and psychological abuse
\n
• Grief and loss issues
\n
• Family conflicts, including sibling rivalry
\n
• Challenges in blended families and remarriages
\n
• Job stress and medical issues
\n
• Separation, divorce, and adjustment difficulties
\n
• Communication breakdowns among family members
\n
\n
• Developing individualized treatment plans that reflect the goals and needs of clients.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve significant interaction with diverse populations, including adults as well as adolescent and child clients. You will support families facing complex dynamics, providing them with tools and strategies to navigate their relationships effectively. Your expertise will empower clients to communicate better and build stronger connections within their families.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of Georgia.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Strong commitment to ethical clinical practice and dedication to improving client outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

While newly licensed candidates are welcomed, we also encourage applications from experienced therapists. Flexibility in scheduling is important as we prioritize meeting client needs. We expect our therapists to be available for at least 30 hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits\n
