Our client, a leading global entertainment and media company, is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. This position is based onsite in Santa Monica, CA, and will support payroll operations within a large, multi-state environment. Candidates with prior experience in the entertainment, television, film, streaming, or media industries are strongly preferred.
- Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered. Role Overview:
- Location: Santa Monica, CA (100% Onsite)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Duration: 6-Month Contract
- Pay Rate: $28-$33/hour W2 (No C2C or 1099)
- Process multi-frequency payrolls accurately and on time
- Audit and reconcile payroll and HR data
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Reconcile payroll integrations, deductions, and bank files
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and garnishment requests
- Prepare payroll reports and support special projects
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now experience required
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and multi-state payroll processing
- Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Entertainment, media, film, television, streaming, or union payroll experience strongly preferred
