The facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and tools that enable our therapists to deliver high-quality care. Our schedule runs from Monday to Friday, with shifts typically starting at 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM and concluding at 3:30 PM or 4:00 PM, offering a predictable work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of patients referred for physical therapy, documenting their medical history, physical condition, and functional capabilities.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the evaluation findings and the specific goals of each patient.Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise prescriptions, manual therapy, and the use of specialty equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.Regularly track patient progress through detailed documentation, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.Educate patients and their families on effective techniques, self-care practices, and the use of assistive devices to support recovery.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on treatment approaches.Stay current with new treatments and trends in the physical therapy field through educational workshops, professional organizations, and peer-reviewed publications.Patient Population / Client FocusOur patient population includes children, adults, and seniors experiencing various physical challenges due to injury, surgery, or chronic conditions. You will work closely with each patient to enhance their functional independence and quality of life, demonstrating empathy and adaptability in your care approaches.QualificationsA Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and fellow staff members.Proficiency in general computer skills and electronic health record (EHR) systems.Preferred ExperienceWhile prior home care experience is not mandatory, candidates who have worked in diverse clinical settings or those who have experience with pediatric or geriatric populations will be viewed favorably. Flexibility and a patient-centered approach will be key attributes for success in this position.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position ranges between USD 90,000 and USD 110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
