MIG/TIG Welder

Welder - Pay $25 to $30/hr - Great Opportunity For Growth! Join a custom fabrication team and work on unique projects using TIG and MIG welding. This is not a production jobyou'll build custom products in a clean, modern, climate-controlled shop. Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, mid, cold and hot rolled Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Read blueprints, weld drawings, and welding symbols Prepare and fit materials for welding Help operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, lasers, and punch presses Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy Keep work area clean and safe Work on a variety of custom fabrication projects Qualifications 2+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience or welding school training Experience welding aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred Strong attention to detail and quality Preferred Skills Experience with press brakes, punch presses, lasers, or turret machines Fabrication, forming, cutting, and assembly experience Team-oriented with good communication skills Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with company benefits Modern, climate-controlled facility Small, supportive team environment Variety of custom projects (no repetitive production work) Work Environment Brand-new sheet metal fabrication shop Modern welding and fabrication equipment Clean, temperature-controlled facility Small team focused on quality craftsmanship This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN. The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
