Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver personalized therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual client needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop effective treatment plans.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Engage in multi-disciplinary discussions to coordinate optimal treatment approaches for clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.

• Participate in continuous education and training workshops to stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will provide services to a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By focusing on those who have historically had limited access to care, you will directly contribute to enhancing their mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Sound understanding of legal and ethical practices in mental health counseling.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with a wide range of clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n
