Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as necessary, offering client referrals to psychiatrists or other specialists to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Document all client interactions thoroughly in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate tracking of treatment progress and adherence to ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our center, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. Your ability to connect with clients from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds will be crucial in providing effective and empathetic care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or an equivalent mental health license recognized in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
