Maintains employee files, attendance, time punches, and sick or tardy logs. Conduct employee orientations for new hires and long-term employees Interview applicants. Answer incoming calls and record messages when necessary. Maintain inventory and other supplies. Monitor payroll, payroll entry, recordkeeping, and reporting. Enter data and keep accurate records. Maintain updated files and binders, file invoices, and keep schedules up to date. Keep the office clean and visually inspect plants, vehicles, and machinery.
