Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations during initial consultations to understand the specific mental health needs, challenges, and treatment goals of clients.

• Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and life adjustments.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that integrate measurable goals and best practices, regularly reviewing progress and making adjustments as needed.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and facilitating access to additional resources when required.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available mental health resources within the community to foster a holistic approach to treatment.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, ensuring that assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes comply with ethical standards and legal guidelines.

• Adhere to state and federal regulations governing mental health care, emphasizing client confidentiality and informed consent in all interactions.

• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity when working with a diverse client base, incorporating inclusive practices into therapy.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team consultations, collaborating with fellow mental health professionals to provide integrated care and improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The licensed mental health counselor will work with a diverse clientele, spanning various age groups and cultural backgrounds. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
