Chief of Staff

Chief of Staff Gaia Health Full-time, San Francisco Chief of Staff Gaia is a consumer health company re-defining our experience with medicine across the whole stack. We have created technological breakthroughs in drug delivery technology that enable once monthly controlled-release of medicines rather than needing daily pills, and alongside this we’re building a tech platform for personalized medicine. We’re building our org the way we build our products: with intentionality, craft, and care. We're hiring a founding Chief of Staff to be a thought partner in that build — designing and running the systems a company runs on, at the table where medicine, design, engineering, and brand come together. The role has three core pillars: the internal operations backbone (operating cadence, OKRs, finance operations), quarterbacking our next fundraise with ownership of the data room, and people operations. Around them, you'll take founder-level projects from first structure to finished and build AI tools that keep our operations lean as we grow. Our mission is to give people more time, energy, and attention to focus on what matters — and in this seat, you deliver that mission to the team itself: every system you build gives someone at Gaia their focus back. What You'll Own The company's operating system: weekly rhythm, monthly reviews, quarterly OKRs, and the follow-through that turns decisions into finished work Finance operations: invoicing, our outsourced accounting relationship, and a budget rhythm that keeps numbers always current and brings analytical rigor to company strategy The fundraise data room and the process machinery of the raise — always ready, always current — plus an investor update rhythm with high fidelity and consistency made easy through process People operations, internally owned and operationalized: hiring standards, offers, onboarding, and org clarity, executed with our external recruiting and People Ops partners Founder-level special projects run end to end, and internal AI tools to keep operations lean – Gaia's written presence — blog, social, communications — shipped in partnership with our brand and marketing leads What You'll Bring 5–10 years in a high-performance operating environment, with outcomes you owned end to end Exceptional organization and follow-through: systems you built that other people still run – Clear communication — your summaries become the record — and discretion that builds trust Financial fluency at the operating level; comfort with modeling is a strong plus Calm, steady energy, low ego, and genuine joy in making other people faster – Fundraise exposure, regulated-industry familiarity, strong writing, and hands‑on AI tooling are all pluses #J-18808-Ljbffr Gaia Health
