Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Driver with Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour Job Schedule: Daytime Mon 11:30 AM - 06:00 PM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thu 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 11:30 AM - 06:00 PM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential risks. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support the protection of sensitive property, equipment, and information in accordance with site policies. Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining assigned equipment, and following post orders related to patrol activity, incident response, and escalation procedures. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the military, law enforcement, or verifiable armed security experience. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only. Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English proficiently. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
