Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop tailored treatment plans for clients, employing evidence-based practices.

• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes through our electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Facilitate workshops and groups that focus on mental health awareness, coping strategies, and therapeutic skills.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care for clients, including coordination with medical professionals when necessary.

• Provide telehealth services in a HIPAA-compliant environment, ensuring confidentiality and security for all client interactions.

• Stay informed about current trends in mental health and utilize ongoing learning opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Clients may present with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and grief. Your sensitivity to cultural differences and individual needs will be crucial in fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license in the state of New York.
\n
• Demonstrated bilingual (Spanish and English) communication skills to provide therapy effectively.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting, working with diverse age groups and family systems.

• Respect for and understanding of the unique cultural needs of clients and their families.
\n
• Must have completed HIPAA training and adhere to all confidentiality requirements.

• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with specialized populations such as LGBTQ+ individuals, or those facing perinatal mental health issues.

• Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
\n
• Capability to provide services as an in-network provider with at least one insurance panel.

• Willingness to work two evenings per week and at least one weekend day to accommodate varying client schedules.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Great Valley Psychotherapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance bonuses are available.
