About the Opportunity

This position oversees a full service aircraft detailing business operating 24/7, including operations at a primary airport and satellite locations within the surrounding area.

\n

\n

We are looking for a hands on leader with a strong background in aviation operations, team development, safety compliance, and financial management. The ideal candidate understands the unique demands of business aviation and is passionate about delivering exceptional service while driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Oversee daily aircraft detailing operations across the primary airport and satellite locations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high quality service delivery.
\n
• Lead, coach, and develop operational teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and employee development.
\n
• Manage overall operational performance, including budgets, P&L responsibilities, cost controls, and revenue optimization.
\n
• Ensure compliance with FAA, OSHA, TSA, airport regulations, and company safety standards.
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with private aviation clients, FBOs, MROs, OEMs, and other business aviation partners.
\n
• Monitor operational KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
\n
• Oversee staffing levels, workforce planning, payroll accuracy, and labor utilization to meet operational demands.
\n
• Maintain high standards for aircraft detailing quality, equipment readiness, inventory management, and facility operations.
\n
• Lead safety initiatives, operational audits, quality assurance programs, and incident investigations.
\n
• Address operational challenges, resolve customer concerns, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
\n
• Partner with internal leadership and cross functional teams to support business growth and operational improvements.
\n
• Identify opportunities to expand services, strengthen customer relationships, and drive revenue growth.

What We're Looking For

\n

\n
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in aviation, airport operations, or a related operational environment.
\n
• Experience managing teams, developing employees, and overseeing complex daily operations.
\n
• Strong understanding of aviation safety standards, airport regulations, and operational compliance.
\n
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, P&L performance, and operational KPIs.
\n
• Experience working with private or corporate aviation clients, FBOs, MROs, or OEMs is highly preferred.
\n
• Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and problem solving skills.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple locations and adapt to changing operational priorities.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
\n
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
\n
• Previous Scissor Lift Certification preferred.
\n
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
\n
• Ability to successfully complete required background screenings and airport badging.
\n
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation and travel between airport locations as needed.
