Hourly Rate : $60.00 – $65.00 per hour

Position Summary
\n Occupational Therapists are needed for the 2026–2027 school year in the Far West, Far Northwest suburban, and Fox Valley areas of Illinois. Opportunities include both short-term and long-term assignments, including full-time school year and FMLA coverage positions. The Occupational Therapist will support elementary and middle school students across general education, resource, and self-contained settings. This role focuses on providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services in a collaborative, student-centered educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule / Shift

\n

\n
• Shift details: Monday–Friday following school schedule
\n
• Hours per week: Full-time hours based on school schedule
\n
• Contract length: 2026–2027 school year
\n

\n

• Key Duties:

\n

\n
• Provide occupational therapy screenings, assessments, treatment, and progress reporting for students
\n
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with student needs and IEP goals
\n
• Participate in and present at IEP meetings and student conferences with educational staff
\n
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student success
\n
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
\n

Requirements

• Education

\n

\n
• Required: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
\n

\n

• Licenses & Certifications

\n

\n
• Required: Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license through IDFPR
\n
• Preferred: Prior school-based or pediatric experience
\n

\n

Skills :

\n

\n
• Ability to work collaboratively in a student-centered educational environment
\n
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
\n
• Knowledge of occupational therapy practices within school settings
\n
• Ability to manage varying caseloads across multiple educational programs
\n
