About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to take on a senior leadership role with a focus on building and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for fan growth, digital marketing, paid media, CRM, brand tracking, and campaign execution. This role demands a strategic leader who can drive viewership growth, particularly across digital and broadcast platforms, and who is adept at creating and executing athlete-led marketing campaigns. The VP of Marketing will also be tasked with owning the digital marketing strategy, including paid media, SEO, app and web growth, and leading the team in the development of integrated campaign strategies for various events. Applicants must have a minimum of 8-10 years' of marketing experience, with a strong background in digital marketing and a proven track record in fan or customer acquisition. The role requires a hands-on approach to Martech and CDP platforms, experience in creator and influencer marketing, and a deep understanding of commercial marketing. The ideal candidate will be a team leader, capable of inspiring and developing a marketing team, and will have a passion for surfing and surf culture. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and the candidate should be fluent in English, with additional language skills being a plus. The role demands a candidate with a flexible schedule, as live events, evenings, and weekends may be required, and a commercial mindset, with the ability to connect marketing activities to P&L outcomes and revenue growth.
