The post holder will have responsibility for the leadership and development of staff across three bases. Ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care. Hours 36 hours over 5 days This post is offered on a permanent basis UK Driving Licence A UK driving licence is essential for this role. What You Will Do You will be responsible for the operational management of the community nursing team including professional/clinical supervision and deployment of staff. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative and as a lone worker working within a variety of settings within the community. Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required For This Post You will have experience working as a qualified registered Nurse and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for a variety of client groups in the community setting. Previous community experience is essential to the role. District nursing qualification desirable Leadership experience is essential with development/secondment applicants being considered. Understand and demonstrate evidence based knowledge of care assurance, quality improvement methodology and governance structures associated within community nursing. You should be able to provide evidence or personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training. Evidence of relevant post graduate qualification is desirable. A current NMC PIN is essential.
