Summer Administrative Intern

Position Summary Winter4Kids is seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented, and professional Administrative Intern to support day‑to‑day administrative operations and organizational record management. This role is ideal for a student or emerging professional interested in nonprofit operations, business administration, human resources, or office management. The Administrative Intern will assist with organizing historical files, updating records and data, and supporting general administrative tasks across departments. Due to the nature of the information handled, this position requires professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Responsibilities Administrative & Office Support Organize and review historical organizational files and records Update and maintain digital and physical filing systems Assist with data entry and administrative record updates Support document organization, retention, and archiving projects Assist with preparation of administrative materials and reports Provide general office and administrative support as needed Data & Record Management Ensure records are accurate, organized, and up to date Assist with transferring and organizing files into updated systems Help maintain compliance with organizational document management procedures Support operational efficiency through improved organization and recordkeeping Confidentiality & Professionalism Handle sensitive and confidential organizational information with discretion Maintain professionalism when working with employee, participant, donor, and operational records Follow all organizational confidentiality and data handling expectations Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information professionally and responsibly Comfortable working independently and managing administrative tasks Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace preferred Interest in business administration, nonprofit operations, human resources, or related field preferred Strong communication and time management skills Learning Opportunities Interns Will Gain Experience In Nonprofit administration and operations Organizational record management Office systems and administrative processes Professional workplace communication Confidential document handling and operational support #J-18808-Ljbffr Winter4Kids
