Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Oasis Psychotherapy Services, you will be expected to:

• Conduct thorough patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic evaluations and offering informed recommendations to primary care providers regarding treatment plans.

• Engage with clients by providing brief, targeted interventions that address their immediate mental health needs.
\n
• Educate and support clients in developing self-management skills, enabling them to actively participate in their own recovery process.

• Collaborate with primary care teams to ensure holistic treatment, determining which patients benefit from continued therapy versus those who may require specialized services.

• Track patient progress meticulously, documenting their treatment journey and adjusting care plans as needed, in compliance with Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.

• Work closely with community resources to assist clients in overcoming socioeconomic barriers to mental health support.

• Provide consultation to clinic management and other team members to enhance our behavioral health services.

• Adhere to the highest ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering care aligned with best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Your role will focus on fostering emotional and psychological growth through tailored interventions and support strategies. By leveraging telehealth services, you will reach individuals who may have previously struggled to obtain the help they need due to geographical or social barriers, ensuring that they receive quality care in the comfort of their own homes.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
