Job Description and Duties
Are you passionate about technical project management? ODI is looking for a project manager to oversee critical projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing projects, ensuring project deliverables, managing resources, and overseeing communication with stakeholders, the team, executive management and control agencies.
The following includes the key duties and/or responsibilities of the Project Manager position:
- Defines and manages project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, resources, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plans, implements, and coordinates project activities with internal and/or external stakeholders, oversight agencies and vendor teams.
- Develops and maintains project plans and establishes methods for tracking milestones, deliverables, risks, decisions, and overall project progress; communicates project status and areas requiring attention to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Manages the working relationships and collaboration between project leadership, agency, department directorate, business partners, and stakeholders.
- I dentifies and manages project risks, issues, and changes that may impact scope, schedule, resources, or deliverables and works with project teams and leadership to determine appropriate mitigation or resolution strategies.

1. Describe a project or initiative in which you led the project or were responsible for a significant aspect of the work. What was your role, what project management methods and techniques did you use to plan, coordinate, and track the work, and how did your contributions impact the project outcome?
2. Describe a project that encountered an unexpected challenge or change in circumstances. What was the challenge, how did you assess its impact, what actions did you take to address it, and what was the outcome?3. Describe how you would approach defining the scope of a new project. What techniques would you use to identify project objectives, requirements, deliverables, stakeholders, and what is in and out of scope?
