Role Description The Club Manager at LA Fitness in Cumming, GA is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing daily club operations and ensuring a positive member experience. This role includes managing staff schedules, supervising team performance, and supporting hiring, training, and development of club employees. The Club Manager monitors facility cleanliness, equipment readiness, and safety standards, and addresses member inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Day-to-day tasks also involve driving membership sales, promoting fitness programs and services, coordinating local marketing efforts, and tracking key performance metrics. The Club Manager collaborates with regional leadership, maintains compliance with company policies, and fosters an inclusive, service-oriented club culture. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in team leadership, staff supervision, and performance management. Experience in customer service, conflict resolution, and relationship building with diverse member populations. Background in sales, membership growth, or retail/fitness club management with the ability to meet targets. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with basic computer applications. Knowledge of fitness, wellness, or health club operations; prior fitness industry experience is preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in business, sports management, or a related field is a plus.
