Accounting Manager

Role: Finance and Operations/Accounting Manager Company Type: Multi-Location Business Key Responsibilities Financial Management: Oversee large volume payables and receivables using QuickBooks Desktop. Ensure accurate accounting practices across multiple locations. Sales Tax Compliance: Manage sales tax calculations and filings for various jurisdictions. Stay updated on tax regulations to ensure compliance. Human Resources: Handle HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee benefits administration. Facilitate communication between staff and management regarding HR policies. Staff Management: Directly manage a small team of 2 employees. Provide training and support to enhance team performance. Organizational Skills: Implement systems to ensure efficient workflow and organization. Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Required Skills Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and financial software. Strong understanding of sales tax regulations. Experience in HR management and employee benefits.
