Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager

What: Seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting functions, maintain financial accuracy, and support leadership with financial insights. Office Environment: Collaborative, fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial leadership team focused on operational excellence. Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 depending on experience. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, payroll review, and bank reconciliations Oversee monthly close and prepare accurate financial statements Maintain and improve reporting structures and chart of accounts Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting Handle job costing and ensure accurate project or departmental financial tracking Manage intercompany transactions across simple legal entities Coordinate with external partners on tax filings, audits, and compliance matters Strengthen internal financial procedures and ensure GAAP compliance Provide financial insights to leadership for operational and vendor decisions Support process improvement initiatives and accounting system optimization Qualifications 5–10+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with increasing responsibility Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals Experience managing full-cycle accounting processes including close and reconciliations ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills preferred Background in construction, distribution, manufacturing, or service industries is a plus Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in daily accounting operations #J-18808-Ljbffr NorthPoint Search Group
