Accounts Payable Supervisor

yThe Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. This role leads a team, supports process improvements, and partners cross-functionally to drive efficiency and maintain strong vendor relationships Key Responsibilities esSupervise and support the AP team, including training, mentoring, and workload manageme ntOversee the full accounts payable cycle (invoice processing, approvals, and payment executio n)Ensure invoices are processed accurately and in compliance with company policies and internal contro lsReview and approve payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transactio nsAct as the escalation point for complex invoice discrepancies, vendor issues, and payment inquiri esMaintain vendor records and ensure proper onboarding and documentati onMonitor AP metrics (cycle time, aging, accuracy) and identify opportunities for improveme ntSupport month-end close activities including reconciliations, accruals, and reporti ngDrive process improvements and support automation initiatives within APPartner with procurement, accounting, and other departments to ensure smooth procure-to-pay process Qualifications onsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field prefer red4+ years of accounts payable or accounting experie ncePrior supervisory or team lead experience prefer redStrong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and general accounting princip lesExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, et c.)Proficiency in Microsoft Ex Key Skills & Competencies ciesDetail-oriented with strong organizational sk illsAbility to manage deadlines in a high-volume environ mentStrong leadership and team development capabili tiesEffective communication and problem-solving sk illsProcess-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improve Nice to Have HaveExperience in a high-volume or shared services enviro nmentExposure to AP automation tools (OCR, workflow sys #J-18808-Ljbffr
