Senior Accounts Payable

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable in Gaithersburg, MD. Duties Include:
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Perform 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, receipt) to validate transactions
- Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
- Research and resolve discrepancies, exceptions, and payment issues
- Communicate with internal departments and vendors to address inquiries and ensure timely resolution
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate records
- Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable
- Identify process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Experience with 3-way matching and invoice processing workflows
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with various teams
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
