Opening: Temporary Receptionist
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $18-$20/hr DOE

We're partnering with a well-established building materials supplier serving contractors, builders, and homeowners throughout Alaska. Known for quality products, reliable service, and a strong team culture, this company plays a key role in supporting construction projects across the region.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Receptionist, you'll serve as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and callers while supporting the daily operations of a busy office. This role requires excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a professional environment.
DUTIES:

• Greet and assist customers and visitors
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
• Perform data entry and basic filing tasks
• Respond to general inquiries
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional
• Provide general administrative support to staff and management
• Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
• Assist with document management, scanning, and other clerical duties as needed
• Maintain accurate records and support smooth day-to-day office operations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous receptionist, administrative, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

POSITION DETAILS:

• Temporary assignment lasting approximately 90 days
• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Pay rate: $18-$20 per hour DOE
