Key Responsibilities

• Eagerly evaluate and treat patients recovering from an array of conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and neurological disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Create and implement detailed individualized treatment plans that incorporate techniques such as therapeutic exercises, hands-on therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and boost mobility.
• Regularly assess patient progress and adapt treatment plans based on documented responses to therapy, ensuring optimized care.
• Track treatment documentation diligently using our electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain accurate patient records and facilitate coordinated care.
• Provide expert recommendations and fit patients with necessary assistive devices to promote independence and facilitate safe movements.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, self-management, and adaptive strategies, fostering empowerment and understanding.
• Stay current with best practices by attending professional workshops, engaging with clinical literature, and participating in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our rehabilitation facility, you'll work with a diverse patient population ranging from children to older adults, each facing unique challenges such as orthopedic conditions, neurological impairments, and postoperative recovery. Your role will directly impact their functional abilities and quality of life, making a difference in their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with relevant state licensing to practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in computer applications and word processing to accurately maintain patient records.

Preferred Experience
