Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, reviewing patients' medical histories and performing specific assessments to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment options clearly to both patients and their families, ensuring their participation in goal-setting processes.
• Implement treatment protocols with a focus on individualized care, adapting methods to meet the unique health needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary, maintaining open lines of communication regarding patient progress and modifications to treatment plans.
• Record accurate documentation of all therapy activities, including evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in accordance with evolving healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your role will be to assist patients managing various conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, mobility issues, and strength deficits. Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) as recognized by the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of physical therapy experience is required, particularly in a home care or community setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physical Therapist role ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
