Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing and evaluating patients’ medical histories to create tailored plans focusing on their physical health.
• Consulting directly with patients to assess their physical condition and symptoms through comprehensive evaluations.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and crafting individualized treatment plans incorporating the latest evidence-based practices.
• Teaching therapeutic exercise techniques, enabling patients to engage in their recovery actively and independently.
• Administering therapies that may include manual stimulation, massage, or modalities to enhance healing processes.
• Assisting patients in using mobility equipment, such as wheelchairs or walkers, ensuring safety and confidence during ambulation.
• Maintaining detailed patient records to monitor progress and adjust treatment regimens as necessary.
• Guiding patients and their families about home-based treatment options and relevant exercises to enhance recovery.
• Collaborating with other medical professionals to share insights and ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
