Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patient conditions and needs to develop customized treatment programs based on physician referrals.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to treat a variety of orthopedic issues and promote recovery.
• Providing therapy services in the clinic and, when necessary, at patients' homes, ensuring alignment with the physician’s treatment plan.
• Educating and training patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation exercises and self-care practices to accelerate recovery.
• Maintaining accurate records of patient progress and outcomes, adhering to established utilization goals for the clinic.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and enhance overall clinic effectiveness.
• Exhibiting strong customer service skills, contributing to a supportive and positive environment for both patients and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will play a critical role in treating diverse patient populations, including individuals with orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurologic disorders, and sports-related ailments. Your expertise will help patients navigate their rehabilitation journey, regain strength, and improve functional capabilities.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Orthopedic Physical Therapist position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect meaningfully with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in computer software for patient documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates with a background in specialized areas such as sports medicine or pediatrics will have an added advantage. Compensation and Benefits
