Position Overview

Kinetic Revive Physical Therapy is in search of a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team at our Skilled Nursing Facility located in Leesburg, Virginia. In this full-time position, you will play a critical role in helping residents achieve their mobility goals and enhance their overall quality of life. This role requires a compassionate and patient-centered approach, as you will be working directly with a diverse population of individuals seeking rehabilitation following illness, injury, or surgery.

Work Environment

The role is based onsite in our Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg, Virginia. The ideal candidate will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with a focus on providing direct patient care in a supportive and equipped environment designed for optimal rehabilitation outcomes. Our facility promotes an engaging atmosphere with modern equipment and resources to facilitate effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents’ physical abilities to establish comprehensive treatment goals tailored to their individual needs.
• Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans that are designed to restore mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance overall functional independence.
• Deliver hands-on therapy and interventions, including therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and balance enhancement techniques.
• Educate residents and their families on effective mobility strategies and provide them with home exercise plans to support their recovery.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to integrate care approaches and optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress reports in accordance with SNF regulations and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves an elderly population within the skilled nursing environment. Many patients may be experiencing conditions related to aging, such as post-stroke recovery, orthopedic surgeries, or chronic pain. Your approach will profoundly impact their capacity to regain independence and enhance their quality of life through tailored therapies and support.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Virginia PT license in good standing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in skilled nursing, geriatric, or long-term care settings preferred.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation while adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Experience utilizing modern rehabilitation equipment and evidence-based practices to aid patient recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
