Active Life PT is seeking a dedicated, full-time Physical Therapist to join our progressive team in the vibrant community of Leesburg, Virginia. In this role, you will be a vital component of our rehabilitation facility, providing expert care that focuses on enhancing patients' mobility and overall quality of life. Work Environment

As part of our onsite rehabilitation facility, you will be immersed in a dynamic work setting designed for teamwork and patient engagement. Our team consists of skilled healthcare professionals who share a common goal of providing high-quality, individualized care. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, with shifts from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring you maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our location in beautiful Leesburg allows for easy access to various recreational activities and a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify limitations and establish individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions, utilizing your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care and manual therapy modalities.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring each patient receives dedicated time and attention to facilitate optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to design comprehensive care plans that address each patient’s unique needs.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Promote non-surgical alternatives, educating patients on cost-effective treatment options to enhance their recovery.
• Foster strong patient relationships, motivating and encouraging individuals throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate treatment effects, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize rehabilitation efforts.
• Document patient interactions and treatment protocols thoroughly to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with a clean record, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques.
• Ability to develop and implement successful exercise programs tailored to patients’ specific recovery needs.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software for documentation and patient management.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy practices and interventions supported by research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly in managing orthopedic cases.
• Background in sports medicine or rehabilitation therapies is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Life PT offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
