Calm Body Innovative Fitness & Rehab is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our vibrant outpatient clinic located in Leesburg, Virginia. Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Leesburg, where you will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to fostering optimal patient healing and well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to meet each patient’s individual needs while focusing on pain relief, muscle function restoration, and overall performance enhancement.
• Oversee and provide mentorship to physical therapy assistants, ensuring compliance with treatment plans and establishing a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations through diagnostic and prognostic assessments to determine patients’ functional abilities and needs.
• Assess the home environment of patients to provide actionable recommendations that promote their independence and safety.
• Deliver physical therapy interventions as prescribed, including manual therapies, therapeutic exercise instruction, and the application of physical agents such as traction and massage.
• Regularly communicate and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team regarding clients’ progress and adapt care plans to align with evolving patient conditions.
• Ensure all documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, meets regulatory standards and is submitted in a timely manner.
• Instruct patients and their families on effective use and care of therapy devices, while also educating them about the components of their physical therapy programs.
• Participate proactively in case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights that enhance collaborative treatment strategies.
• Complete on-site functional assessments and adjust care plans based on ongoing evaluations of patient needs and community resource utilization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic ranges from individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries to those receiving ongoing treatment for chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in either an acute care or home care setting.
• Active and unencumbered PT licensure in Virginia.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong decision-making capabilities, creativity in therapy approaches, and a commitment to delivering quality care.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient engagement and collaboration with team members.
• A positive, energetic attitude that promotes a harmonious team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings and familiarity with state and federal regulations regarding rehabilitation services.
• Demonstrated success in implementing innovative therapy techniques that have positively impacted patient progress.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
