Schedule: Part-Time, Monday – Friday (2pm-6pm)

Overview
We are a busy, dual-working-parent family seeking a warm, proactive, and highly organized Household Manager / Family Assistant to support our home and evening routine during the workweek.
Our primary goal is to create more quality time with our children by having a reliable partner who can keep the household running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys creating order, helping families thrive, and taking initiative in a home environment.
Primary Responsibilities
???? Meal Preparation

• Prepare healthy, family-friendly dinners and occasional meal prep/planning for the week.
• Manage kitchen organization, monitor grocery needs, and keep mealtime running smoothly.
• Handle light meal/snack prep for the children as needed.

???? Laundry & Household Organization

• Manage family laundry (washing, folding, organizing, and putting away).
• Maintain organization in common areas to keep the home tidy and functional.
• Anticipate organizational needs (e.g., rotating seasonal clothes, organizing pantries).

???? Light Housekeeping

• Execute a kitchen reset after meals (unloading/loading dishwasher, wiping counters).
• Tidy toys, school bags, and shared living spaces.
• Perform light upkeep such as vacuuming high-traffic areas.
• Note: We are not looking for a deep cleaner or heavy housekeeper, but rather someone who takes pride in maintaining an orderly, peaceful home.

???? Evening Family Support

• Support the family during dinner and evening transitions.
• Assisting with the children as needed so parents can be fully present and engaged.
• Help create a calm, organized environment during the busiest part of the day.

What Success Looks Like
The right person will significantly reduce the mental load of managing a busy household. Success in this role means:

• Dinner is handled or well underway by the time the evening rush begins.
• Laundry and household tasks are consistently managed and never pile up.
• The house feels calm, clean, and organized.
• Parents can spend meaningful, stress-free time with the kids rather than catching up on chores.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in household management, nannying, or family assistant roles.
• Mindset: Proactive, self-directed, and a "see a need, fill a need" mentality.
• Traits: Warm, dependable, detail-oriented, and family-focused.
• Skills: Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to anticipate a household's daily rhythm.
• Logistics: Must have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and be willing to undergo a background check. Non-smoker required.
