Project Engineer

Our client is a growing, highly regarded and long-established engineering consulting firm. They are seeking a proven Project Engineer with a background in construction materials testing and geotechnical engineering. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of technical background and a passion for engineering innovative and sustainable solutions to exceed our client’s needs and expectations.

Desired Skills and Experience

• BS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering is required
• 5+ years of engineering experience
• PE License required
• Project Management experience desired
• Geotechnical and Construction Materials lab experience highly desired
• QA/QC construction oversight experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Supervise and/or support materials testing field services.
• Coordinate and review construction materials testing and soils laboratory testing, analysis and reporting
• Provide project-level development of proposals and reports
• Provide construction oversight for engineered fill, foundations, concrete, pavement
• Perform and/or manage borehole sample collection and logging
• Manage all aspects of materials testing and geotechnical project coordination and client coordination
