Adjunct/Part Time Faculty; Public Health and Health Administration The Department of Public Health and Health Administration, created July 2026 by the merger of the Department of Epidemiology and Community Health and the Department of Health Management and Policy, seeks adjunct or part‑time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses for the 2026‑27 Academic Year. Requirements include a doctorate or master’s in the discipline, with additional consideration for relevant experience, certifications, and demonstrated teaching excellence. Applicants must provide an official transcript of their highest earned degree and will be subject to a criminal background check. Responsibilities Develop and update course syllabus. Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments. Meet all designated class periods and maintain office hours. Grade student assignments and exams promptly. Submit completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades per university regulations. Qualifications Doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline for graduate courses, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours for undergraduate courses. Knowledge of public health, health administration, or related fields. Demonstrated competence, effectiveness, and capacity in teaching and student learning outcomes. Professional licensure or certifications are an advantage.
