Salary Range: $75K to $85K/Annually

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of a rapidly growing organization. This role will be responsible for managing full-cycle bookkeeping, maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, coordinating payroll, and supporting financial reporting across multiple business entities.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, a solid understanding of GAAP and double-entry accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This individual will work closely with executive leadership and play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, improving processes, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using double-entry bookkeeping principles.
• Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Oversee payroll administration through Paychex or similar payroll platforms.
• Prepare monthly financial reports including:
• Profit & Loss Statements
• Cash Flow Statements
• Expense Analysis Reports
• 30/60/90-Day Cash Flow Forecasts
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Coordinate with banks, external accountants, tax advisors, and service providers.
• Support inventory accounting and warehouse-related financial activities.
• Manage bookkeeping activities across multiple business entities.
• Evaluate and implement bookkeeping software and process improvements.
• Supervise administrative support staff responsible for financial documentation and data entry.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and GAAP standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Required).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and double-entry accounting principles.
• Experience managing AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience preparing financial statements and cash flow reports.
• Familiarity with Paychex payroll platform preferred.
• Experience supporting inventory-based, wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, or import/export businesses preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience working directly with executive leadership teams.
