Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Position Summary Under minimal supervision, level two Shipping & Receiving Clerks proficiently complete shipping and receiving tasks such as verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will compare identifying information and counts, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Duties & Responsibilities Maintains documentation, such as the department database and shipping/receiving files. Operates all shipping and receiving equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack, scales, banding, and label makers. Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and logs inventory which is shipped or received, and understands schedule interactions and process knowledge. Loads and unloads incoming materials and compares the packaging slip with the purchase order to verify the accuracy of the shipment; processes customer returns as necessary. Prepares loads for pickup and streamlines the department by developing new packaging processes. Inspects shipments for damages or defects, records discrepancies or damages, and resolves or notifies the correct personnel to resolve. Determines work priority for lower-level clerks and may train as necessary. Uses intermediate operation of the computer for data entry. Follows all organization (6S), safety (proper PPE and equipment operation), and quality standards. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 2‑5 years of experience related to shipping/receiving, inventory, logistics, manufacturing, or a warehouse environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Effectively communicates information orally and in writing. Strong attention to detail. Compliance and Security This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). Compensation & Benefits For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $22.50 to $28.00 USD hourly based on a variety of factors. This role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
