Associate I - Commercial Real Estate

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Analysis: Deal review, information summaries and overall relationship analysis. Business Development: Prospecting and market research, building and maintaining a prospecting database. Sales Disciplines: Ownership of pre-call planning strategies for selected clients and/or RMs, sales tools management. Client Support: Attends client calls and meetings with assigned Relationship Manager(s), supports and participates in client planning end-to-end process. Support and mentorship of CRE Analysts. QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 2-3 years’ combined Commercial Real Estate experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of credit principles. Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints. Demonstrated success working in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Masters in Real Estate or combined Commercial Real Estate experience through internships or other experiences; or an equivalent combination of educational and experience or other related advanced degree. 2 years’ experience in a Commercial Real Estate Associate Development Program and/or equivalent experience in a CRE Credit Delivery role.
