Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care based on established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and guide various levels of nursing staff, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment to make informed decisions.
- Collect and analyze patient data to verify health status and develop effective care plans.
- Implement care plans, coordinating with patients, families, and healthcare providers for optimal safety and healing.
- Evaluate patient progress and outcomes, making adjustments as necessary.
- Offer educational opportunities to patients and families, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate tasks and coordinate team efforts efficiently.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are also required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale knowledge is essential.
