Behavioral Health RN

- Shifts: 12hr Night Shift 1830-0700 CPSI and BLS

Job Summary:
Provides mental health assessments, medication management, and therapeutic support in inpatient or outpatient behavioral health settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluate risk factors.
• Administer and monitor psychiatric medications.
• Provide individual therapy and crisis intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists.
• Maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements:

• RN license in state of assignment *Compact License Allowed**Must have taxable address outside of 90 miles from facility**
• Minimum 2-year(s) exp.
• BLS, ACLS and MOAB required.
  
• Experience in Psych/Behavioral Health; Experience with mental health patients preferred.
• Psychiatric nursing certification may be required.
  
• Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.

Work Environment & Demands:

• Will work every 3rd weekend
• Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down).
  
• Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management
